This month, we released an update to the rtMedia Docs and Other files add-on. Along with this, we also updated a few other add-ons that work with Docs and Other files add-on.
Please note that the changes introduced in rtMedia Docs and Other files will not reflect until you update the other individual add-ons.
rtMedia Docs and Other files
The main feature of this release is that we have added support for different document thumbnails depending on the type of the document. Until now, it used to display a generic thumbnail for all documents regardless of the type of document that was uploaded. With this latest release, rtMedia will display an image thumbnail matching the type of the document – like .doc, .ppt, .pdf, etc. Here is how it will be displayed on your site –
Along with the enhancement to document thumbnails, a few other enhancements and fixes have also been released as you can see from the changelog below –
