Yesterday, BuddyPress 2.3 “Livio” was released. The new version of BuddyPress has a host of new features like uploading profile pictures with drag and drop, companion stylesheets for themes, blog post activity, member type directories, star private messages and notification meta.

The rtCamp connection
rtCampers are encouraged to contribute to open source projects. Usually we have a few guys contributing to WordPress core, but we are proud to have Paresh Radadiya contribute a few patches to BuddyPress 2.3.
Paresh’s submitted patches were #6329, #6337, #6353.
As is our tradition, we celebrated the Paresh’s contribution with some cake!
