Inspirebook Version 1.2.25 provides an to keep collapse menu ON/OFF. You do not need not to write any custom code for this functionality. By default, the menu will be opened.
To change the collapse menu to OFF, go to Inspirebook Settings > Theme Settings > Menu collapse and check the option.
After making this change, click on Save Changes. Your collapse menu will be now be set of OFF by default.
