rtMedia Social Sharing add-on released with fatal error fix

Posted by Krupa Nandaon May 19, 2020May 19, 2020

Hello Peopel! 👋

We have just released a new version for rtMedia Social Sharing add-on – v1.1.7

You might have faced a Fatal Error issue on your site when Yoast plugin and rtMedia Social Sharing add-on is active at the same time.

This is what the error message might have looked like.👇

PHP Fatal error: Uncaught ArgumentCountError: Too few arguments to function RTMediaSocialSharing::rtmedia_wpseo_og_image_dimension(), 0 passed in /dom30041/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php on line 287 and exactly 1 expected in /dom30041/wp-content/plugins/rtmedia-social-sharing/app/RTMediaSocialSharing.php:183

We found that the fatal error was caused because of the recent update of the Yoast Plugin. We have fixed this issue with v1.1.7. This fix will support all versions of the Yoast Plugin. 🙂
