We are back with another release for our premium add-ons! This release has updates for two of our highly used add-ons – rtMedia Set Custom Thumbnails and rtMedia Custom Attributes!
Let’s check each of them in details.
rtMedia Set Custom Thumbnail
We have added a new option for site admin to set the thumbnails for audio and/or video from rtMedia Settings. Earlier, there was an option to change the thumbnail only from the front end.
Now, the site admin can set default images for music and video files. That means if the user uploads the music/video files and if it does not have a default image then it would take the default image set by the admin user.
We have also added some improvements along with UI fixes.

- Add Hover effect while deleting a thumbnail from settings

- Add custom thumbnail cover art for audio files in Lightbox and single media page

- Improved UI after thumbnail is uploaded for audio/video
- Warning on selecting the wrong file format while changing the thumbnail
- Fix thumbnail size on edit media, media gallery, and Lightbox
- Delete thumbnail file from upload dir when remove/replace custom thumbnail
- Fix issue of thumbnail upload with theme 2017 V2.1
rtMedia Custom Attributes
With this release, we have added a fix for user experience for Add Attribute Section which was not getting closed after the upload process.
Also, we added one enhancement which adds support for multiple Add Attribute section on a single page.
